Mother's Day at Nonna and Ga's

All three of you were so cute on Mother's Day this year. Your room was freezing cold last night, so after waking up almost every hour with you a few times, I finally just brought you into my bed to sleep with me. That NEVER happens anymore, so it was a special gift from you to me. :)

Then your sisters popped their heads into the room a couple hours later with a tray filled with breakfast in bed! What a treat! (Thank you, Nonna!)

Even though your Daddy was in Salt Lake City for the USA Weightlifting Olympic trials, he didn't forget me either. So glad to be a mom today (and every day)!

8 Months Old - that's 3/4 of a Year!

Oh Gabrielle, you fill our days with endless smiles and laughter. You are just the happiest baby.

The only time you whine is when you're hungry, you need a diaper change or one of your sisters is being just a little too loving (but who can help but squeeze your delicious goo?).

 You are now sitting up on your own and have one very distinct tooth. You can wave and say, "Hi Da,"  but I'm still waiting to hear "mama!"

Your Ga jokes that you have the long arms of the law because when you sit on the table in your bumbo, you can reach just about anything...maybe it's time for the high chair.  You're eating well and growing and learning like crazy!

And there it is, your very first chomper. No more toothless smiles...now they're toothy grins! I see you looking longingly at your sisters' dinner plates. It'll happen soon Gabrielle, soon enough. :)
