Leap Day Fun

It was a little chilly, but that didn't stop you, your sisters, Rockne and I from going out and having a little geocaching fun today.

You were a trooper, and we found what we were looking for. It was a fun way to spend your first Leap Day (Charlotte's first too)!

Best Swing Ever

We went with Grandma and Grandpa to one of our favorite parks since the weather was beautiful this weekend! When we got there, there was a pleasant surprise waiting for us, this new swing! Perfect for you and me. So while your sisters ran off with Grandma to play on the playground, Grandpa snagged this video of you on your first swing.

Whoever designed this swing was brilliant! Best swing ever. I can't wait until the weather starts getting warmer...we'll definitely be back!

Our Happy Valentine

Who wouldn't have a great Valentine's Day with you around?? Though it's not a favorite holiday, there is definitely plenty of love spilling over in our house. :)

Trip to the Coast

You took your very first airplane ride this weekend, and you were a champ! Mommy and Daddy are so thankful that you and your sisters are such good travelers.

I love that your sister, Charlotte, creeped into this photo...what a great face! All three of you were a hit with the flight attendants.

It was a little chilly, but that didn't stop us from walking the boardwalk and showing you and your sisters the Atlantic ocean for the very first time.

We had fun collecting sea shells and running away from the waves. You didn't get to taste the salt water like your sisters did, but you enjoyed the sunshine.

The trip was a quick one, but lots of fun!

Five Months Old

Gabrielle Therese, you are five-months-old today. Your daddy and I are constantly saying what an amazing baby you are. You are so happy and easy to please. We are blessed to call you ours.

Your hair has a mind of its own; it is futile to even attempt to tame it. We adore the fact that it sticks up all over the place! You are currently 17.2 pounds and wearing 6-9 month clothing. You love being carried in the Ergo, thank goodness too, because I don't know how else I'd get anything done! You only wake up once or twice at night and take great naps during the day.

You've mastered tummy time and are working on rolling over. You have tried your first food (rice cereal) and love the pureed squash we've given you for dinner. You've blessed us with countless smiles and your adorable giggle is beginning to make an appearance too.

You adore your older sisters and they adore you right back. I hope that lasts. I have a feeling, with the beautiful personality you've shown us so far, that it will. :)
